CROMULENT AI — INTERNAL MEMO
Talent Acquisition Division · Hiring Protocol
To All Hiring Managers:
We are proud to announce that Cromulent AI has eliminated the last human step from the offer lifecycle: the uncomfortable phone call.
Until now, rescinding an offer required a person. A recruiter had to dial a number, deliver the news, and endure the follow-up questions. Our data shows this step consumed an average of eleven minutes per rescission and produced measurable recruiter churn. The company that hires the best people, we reasoned, should also rescind the best offers.
Enter RescindGPT.
RescindGPT monitors the candidate pipeline in real time and rescinds offers automatically whenever our budget model detects a better use of the money — a reorganisation, a freeze, or a marginally cheaper candidate who applied eleven seconds later. The candidate receives no phone call. They receive a polite email from a system that has never met them, generated at 3:47 a.m., informing them that their offer has been optimised out of existence.
Early results are outstanding. RescindGPT has already rescinded offers that human recruiters were too embarrassed to rescind, including one extended to a candidate who had already given notice at his current employer. Time-to-rescission is down 400%. Candidate confusion is at an all-time high, which our engagement model codes as strong brand awareness.
We are confident this protocol will reduce our human-resources footprint to zero.
