Cromulent AI Memo 2026-217: The 200-Application Auto-Ghost

**CROMULENT AI — OFFICE OF TALENT ACQUISITION**

**MEMO 2026-217: THE 200-APPLICATION AUTO-GHOST**

Effective immediately, both ends of our hiring pipeline are fully automated, and we are pleased to report that no human was inconvenienced.

Candidates may now apply to 200 roles at once using a single cover letter that opens with the phrase “I am passionate about synergy.” Our application system accepts all 200. Our screening system reads none of them. This is working as intended.

Recruiters will continue to ghost candidates. Candidates will continue to ghost recruiters back. We have normalized this on both ends of the pipe, and everyone now acts like it is the industry standard, because it is.

Candidates who complete all 200 applications should expect no reply whatsoever. Do not interpret this as a rejection. Interpret it as the 404 it is: the page is gone, the job was never real, and the server has already moved on to a newer candidate pool.

Questions may be directed to our support desk, which has been ghosting applicants since Q1 and reports record efficiency.
