Rejected Before the Application Was Even Submitted

A job seeker for a "Director of Rehabilitation" role visited a company's application portal and entered their email address to create an account. Before uploading a resume, before typing a single word of work history, before clicking submit — an automated rejection email arrived. It claimed the company had "reviewed their resume, skills, and experience." The candidate had provided none of those things. Reddit users called it a "new level of recruiting hell," with one comparing it to "walking up to a girl and having her just say no before you say a word."
