Someone should look into how employers string candidates along, the post read: three or four interview stages before the ghosting, or the weeks-and-months-later note that they were "unsuccessful." Oh, and no salary on the application either. It's hell for jobseekers — a process engineered to make the candidate do all the waiting and none of the knowing.
