1.5 years applying — 850+ applications13 interviews, long stretches of doubtOffer — abroad, at last

A year and a half of applying: more than eight hundred and fifty applications, thirteen interviews, and long stretches of doubt in between — including the worry of moving to a new country alone, with visa complications still to settle. Then, at the end of it, an offer abroad.
