A recruiter had ghosted the candidate over a job. No rejection, no reply, nothing.

Then, later, an invitation arrived on LinkedIn — not for the role, and not for another interview. It was for the company’s puzzle game.

The job was never mentioned. The recruiter who could not find four minutes to close the loop could apparently find the time to send a puzzle.

The candidate’s framing was the whole story: ghosted for a job, then recruited for a game.
