A phone screen the next day; the recruiter put them straight through to a video call with their future manager that same afternoon. No trick questions, no panel theatre — just straightforward ones from what they called “no-bullshit people” who seemed to want to hire. The base came in under their old pay, but with commission and a much shorter commute. They signed the offer the day before posting.
