A construction professional on a work visa was placed by a recruiter, interviewed in person, and countersigned the offer letter for a sizable raise. They handed in their two weeks. The company then grew hesitant about signing the remaining paperwork; on day thirteen of the notice period, the CEO pulled the offer.
