RE: Formalising the Candidate-Assisted Model Training Programme (CAMTP)

Colleagues - effective immediately, every take-home assignment, case study and "quick exercise" issued during interviews will be routed directly into the training corpus for Perpetua Assist, the model we are building to perform the role each candidate is interviewing for.

This is not a change in practice. It is a change in honesty. We have been doing this for three quarters; we are simply giving it a name and a steering committee.

Guidance for panels:
- Continue to describe assignments as "evaluative" and "unpaid". Both remain true.
- The strongest submissions should be scored lowest, to keep the source anonymous and the pipeline full.
- Where a candidate asks whether the work will be used commercially, respond that it "informs our thinking". It does.

We recognise some applicants may feel they have trained their own replacement. We prefer to frame this as unpaid inference in service of a shared roadmap. Unsuccessful candidates remain valued contributors and will be notified of the role's closure by the model that filled it.

With gratitude for your submissions,
People & Model Operations
